Eating Disorder Treatment for Adolescents
Clementine St. Louis, located in St. Louis Missouri, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents of all genders seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or ARFID. Clementine St. Louis, similar to our other Clementine programs, provides the highest level of medical and psychiatric care outside of a hospital within the comfort of a home.
Our Approach
Treatment is integrated with personalized clinical and nutritional care and comprehensive academic and family support. Always sensitive to the developmental needs of this younger population, our treatment is therapeutically grounded, incorporating state-of-the-art approaches, research, and outcome data. Woven into our culture is a philosophy of connection and teamwork with each adolescent’s family, working to instill hope and trust and providing the tools needed to heal alongside their loved one.
At Clementine, our goal is to help make eating disorder treatment in St. Louis accessible and we are committed to working with families to access care. Each of our programs are in-network with different insurance providers. Clementine St. Louis provides a comprehensive research study, approved by an Institutional Review Board, in order to assess treatment outcomes in our programs. This reflects the efficacy of the care we provide. Recent outcomes at Clementine St. Louis include:
- 100% of clients with Anorexia Nervosa – restricting demonstrated clinically significant weight gain and reported decreased urge to restrict.
- 100% of all clients improved in eating disorder symptoms on the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDEQ) global score, 75% improved in trauma (based on improvement on PCL5 if they had PTSD at Admission), and 75% of clients improved on depression symptoms.
